Ponder the possibilities!
Operation Christmas Child is partnering with the Life and Faith Tour this year and it will be in Rockingham, NC on July 10, 2010 . http://www.lifeandfaithtour.com/. These festivals are geared toward families and they expect to sell over 70,000 tickets to each. There will be 4 stages with different acts going on. Here are some of the highlight performances:
· MercyMe
· Amy Grant
· Natalie Grant
· Diamond Rio
· David Crowder
· Point of Grace
· Hawk Nelson and more
There will also be a Kids Corner sponsored by Veggie Tales, featuring bounce houses and VT characters along with Variety Tents that will have Christian comedy acts and popular authors such as Karen Kingsbury.
For every ticket sold, Life and Faith will give $10 to a charity that has been approved through their site. When purchasing online at the ticket page, you simply have to click the box, I would like to choose an organization. Then select your state and write in Operation Christmas Child. If you plan to buy a ticket or know someone who is, this is a great opportunity to spread the word and raise money for Operation Christmas Child. Invite your friends too!

Learned at church last night that one of our ladies, Mrs. Amy Driggers has taken a fall...please keep her in your prayers as she recuperates...pray for a speedy and safe recovery.
Mr. Bill Lee also took some sort of fall and in the visit to the doctor's office, found he has acute bronchitis. Prayers for Mr. Bill as he recovers.
Harry Tucker is home from the hospital after shoulder replacement surgery and staying at his sister's home, Ms. Faye White while he recovers. Prayers to Harry and his family during this time of recovery and bereavement for his grandson Bryant Buchanan.
Also keep Mrs. Joni Ainsworth in your prayers for her upcoming knee replacement surgery.
